What is a DNS Leak?
A DNS leak happens when your DNS queries bypass the VPN tunnel and are sent directly to your ISP or third-party DNS servers. This means your ISP can still see which websites you visit, even though your traffic is encrypted. A good VPN routes all DNS queries through its encrypted tunnel to its own DNS servers.
